2-Man Best Ball (Team, pick your partner). Thursday, 5:30 shotgun. $20. Each player plays his ball from tee to green. We will score both gross and net leaderboards. We will be playing the back 9. Please make sure both members of your team register for the round!

Match of Cards (Player v. All Players, Blind Draw):

In this format, every player is in a match play against every other player in the field. For example, for 50 players there are 1,225 different matches being scored. 80% of course handicap will be applied.

Payouts by Rank of Matches Won/Tied: The players are ranked and paid out depending on the total matches that they have won/tied.

Individual Stableford (Individual, Pick a playing partner) - The strategy in Modified Stableford formats can be summed up in three words: Go for it. With the goal of accumulating more points than your competition, your NET score (70% handicap applied) on each hole will get you: 6 points for a hole-in-one, 5 points for a double eagle, 4 points for an eagle, 3 points for a birdie, 2 points for a par, 1 point for a bogey, and 0 points for everything else.

Blind 5 Holes (Blind Draw). In this individual stroke play format, only 5 of the 9 holes you play will count towards your score.  You will not know which 5 holes they are until you are done with the round.  We will score both low gross and low net leaderboards.

2-Man Shamble (Team Best Ball, pick your partner). Thursday, 5:30 shotgun. $20.

In a 2-man shamble, each player hits a tee shot on every hole.  The best drive is selected and each player plays their own ball from that spot until the hole is completed.  The lowest net ball (80% handicap applied) for the team is the scoring ball on the hole. There is a minimum drive requirement of two drives used for each team member. 

Red White & Blue (Individual, Blind Draw). In this game, you must play three holes from the RED tees, three holes from the WHITE tees, and three holes from the BLUE tees (women's forward).  Choose wisely. We will pay out low gross and low net (90% handicap, applied to white tees) leaderboards.

2-Man Best Ball - Pick your teammate (modified). In this modified best-ball format, you may pick your teammate, but you will be playing in different groups - you will not know how your partner scored until the round is over. We will blind draw pairings.

Pro-Am Format (ABCD Blind Draw). In this game, four-man teams will be drawn blindly (ABCD).  On each hole, the best 1 gross ball and the best 2 net balls of the 4 will count towards the team score. Payouts will be based on the overall team scores. For any teams that end up with only three players, a player from another group will act as a blind. Players will get 90% handicap.

There will be no player cap on Thursday night.  As such, you must make your cart request after you sign up via 'Message a Manager' at the same time as when you make pairing requests. Carts will be allocated to cart members first, then to cart requests for fee payers in the order of request.

NOON FRIDAY - $20 Money Game - 18 holes, Gross+Net Skins

 

We have a $20 money game this Friday, with tee times starting at noon.  Please click "playing" below if you would like to join.  We will play 18 holes, paying gross and net skins.  You may pay online ($20 plus processing fee) or with $20 cash on Friday. We will have cash payouts for pickup at our Friday night pairings party. Tee times will be sent out Thursday night/Friday Morning, with times between 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM.

 

*Does not include course green fees for those without a course membership; please pay those in the shop before your round.

**This round counts towards your Club Championship 3 event requirement.

On Sunday, October 13th, we will have our fall JMC tournament and our fall membership meeting.
 
This year, we are playing 18 holes with a 9:00 a.m. shotgun (pending any frost delay). The format will be two-person teams, playing 6+6+6, where each team plays 6 holes of best-ball, 6 holes of scramble, and 6 holes of alternate shot.

 

After registering and paying, please click ‘send a message to a manager’ and let us know your partner. Your partner must also register, so make sure to coordinate with them!

 

Feel free to sign up as a single, and we will get you paired up.  Please sign up early so we can have accurate catering numbers.  
 
The cost to play in the tournament will be $35 per person (plus any applicable green/cart fees), which includes lunch, free drink, and prize pool payouts.  We will start at 9:00 AM (pending any frost delay).
 
Immediately following the tournament, we will have our fall membership meeting during lunch (approximately 12:30).  Please note that you do not need to participate in the tournament to come to the meeting. All current JMC members are invited to the meeting. Please let us know if you will attend the meeting but will not be golfing so we can have accurate catering.  If you have a point of business you would like discussed, please let me know in advance, and we can add it to the agenda. Due to an early resignation from the board in a previous season, this is our off-year for elections - there will be no board election this year.

 

Optional Hole-In-One Club

 

The cost is $20 per season.

 

Here are the details:

• JMC members may join at any point during the season and must be paid in full before being eligible for the prize.  
• Hole-in-one (HIO) eligibility extends ONLY to the following JMC-only events: weekly Thursday evening events (including Thursday events moved to other nights of the week), Brown & Gold Cup, and the Club Championship. Hole-in-ones outside of these events do not qualify for the pool.
• The $20 entry fees, less processing fees, will be applied to the following:
  • Cost of a JMC HIO trophy/display case for the winner.
  • The remainder of the pool will be paid 50% to the player via check, and 50% towards a bar tab immediately on the event day or an evening to be determined shortly after the hole-in-one. Any amount not spent at the bar will additionally be awarded to the player. Open-bar tab will be cut-off if the 50% dollar amount is reached.
• If/when a HIO is achieved, another entry fee will open immediately, and the process will start over.
• All HIO club members and guests of the winner are invited to the gathering. Additionally, if the event occurs same-day as the HIO, all present may benefit from the bar tab. 
• Eligibility is only for the current season. At the end of the season, the current prize pool will roll over into the following year's pot.  All members wishing to play the following season must re-enter the next year to continue eligibility for the prize pool. All entries in the HIO club the following year will have eligibility to win the entire HIO prize.
